Boricubos: Latin American Monsters and Adventures

Hi everyone,

My apologies for the last update. That was supposed to go to the Mother of Monsters Kickstarter backers, not to Boricubos! That's what I get for posting updates way too late at night and having way too many tabs open in my browser. 

So sorry for the misdirected message! 

As for an ACTUAL update for Boricubos:

• All of the 5E books are in process at the printer. We're picking out ribbon and endpaper colors for the Deluxe book so it can join the two softcovers on the print line. Delivery of books to us is expected in May or June and we can start shipping them out to you!
• VTTs are mostly finished, but there's some kind of weird glitch happening with the Roll20 version that our team is trying to work out. Once we've got it sorted, we can send out the VTT codes for those. 

We are getting ready to launch our next Kickstarter project, so we'll let you know soon to see what is coming your way! 

Mother of Monsters Reviews and Streaming Sessions!

Hi all, 

All of our files are up and out to backers and print orders have been sent. Most if not all of those should have been delivered by now, though as we've noted previously there have been some printer errors. The revised proofs shipped from the printer yesterday to Lead Designer Adrian Arduini, so once he's been able to check them if everything is looking perfect, we'll get replacement books sent out to the 17 backers who got misprinted copies. If your books were misprinted (and you haven't already let us know), shoot us a line so we can add you to the list who need replacements. If you've already emailed us, I've got you down and we'll get them sent.

But meanwhile, we have more big news! 

1.  ADVENTURE #2: Adrian has finished writing the second adventure in the saga, False Prophecies, and is working on the gazetteer to accompany it. If all goes well, we should have it available for you sometime in March.

2.  KAGARI TALES: He's also working on a series of short adventures called Kagari Tales, each a one-shot adventure you can play in 2-4 hours. The first one is just about done and two more are finished with writing and are moving toward their finishing touches. 

3.  STREAMING SESSIONS: We are currently working on setting up our Twitch and Youtube channels and part of our plans include running an ongoing series of adventures in our Mother of Monsters Adventure Path with professional GM Michael "Azmyth" Azzolino! We have had some great meetings about getting things set up but we also wanted to reach out to our fans to look for folks interested in being a part of this awesome gaming experience!

We will be having some introductory "audition" sessions with the LG staff and fans with some of lead designer Adrian Arduini's Kagari Tales one-shot adventures, including some of the new race and class options for the Kagari Islands setting. All that *you* need is a solid internet connection, a great attitude of fun and team play, and a commitment to show up on time and ready to play. We're working out the details of hosting the game via Zoom or similar conferencing software and/or virtual tabletop. Players will need to be on camera during sessions but we will be editing video after games.

Once we've had a chance to get to know folks a little over the (virtual) gaming table, we'll work to coordinate a dedicated group to dive in and start playing Stone Mother's Assault, the first mega-adventure in the saga and figuring out the best mix of players to start rolling!

Spaces are limited but we wanted to go first to our biggest fans to see who might be interested in:

1.  Playing in a one-shot Kagari Tales.

2.  Becoming part of an ongoing streaming game in Mother of Monsters.

Pathfinder 2E books sent! 5E books getting set up with the printer!

Hi all,

Update time! 

• Our Pathfinder Second Edition files cleared at the printer and we processed 123 print orders over the weekend. The printer's current information says it's taking a couple of weeks between order submission and printing and shipping, so books should be heading out from the printer around the end of January and coming your way! All PF1 and PF2 books are in the pipeline. If you are also getting 5E books, those will be shipped separately once they arrive here at LG. 
• Speaking of 5E books, we are well into the print setup on the 5E books with our printer. They've reviewed Latin American Monsters and we've sent back updated files, and they are reviewing Boricubos now. Work continues on the combined Deluxe Edition and that'll be the next book in review with the printer. Once files are approved, we'll get PDF samples to do final checks and then they'll FedEx sample pages. We'll share images of those once we have them in hand. Once everything is signed off, they'll print the books and we'll get loaded up for their trip across the ocean. That process usually takes around 4-6 months, so we should have the books in hand this summer to get headed your way. 
• The last pieces to go out are our VTT assets, and we'll be getting those organized and sent out soon. Some already have gone out, with more to come as they get finalized. 

Last but not least, we've got some amazing projects coming this year, and we'll be sharing more with you very soon, but this year is going to be a marvelous one indeed for Legendary Games! 

Corrected final version of Boricubos for Pathfinder 2E is up! Boricubos 5E incoming this week!

Hi all,

Our eagle-eyed fans noticed that shaman focus spells were missing in what we thought was our "final" version of Boricubos: The Lost Isles for Pathfinder Second Edition. Whoops! We got the files over to layout, and we've got the fixed version of the file loaded up on both Backerkit and DrivethruRPG, so you can download the new file (with the suffix Complete Rev. 2). We're uploading the files to print tonight, and once they clear processing we'll start sending out the print orders for Pathfinder 2E as well as the orders for both Pathfinder versions. 

We're also very close to finished with the 5E version of Boricubos, and we hope to have it ready to upload tomorrow night! We'll do a final quality check on our end, and if you happen to spot anything that needs fixing let us know. Otherwise, we'll get Boricubos 5E loaded up with our printer and start the process going with them. The 5E versions of both books (and the deluxe hardcover) are being printed overseas, and it generally takes between 4-6 months between turning over files and receiving the books here, though COVID has made international shipping schedules a bit more uncertain. In any case, we look forward to having your books ready to ship out by late spring if all goes well or sometimes this summer if things take longer.

Boricubos PF2 FINAL PDF is up! PF1 book printing and shipping begun! 5E FINAL PDF to layout!

The headline says it all! 

• Boricubos for Pathfinder RPG has cleared at the printer, and we've sent off the first 40 print orders and counting for Boricubos and Latin American Monsters for Pathfinder 1E are already submitted and in process. Given the lingering holiday rush and ongoing COVID staffing slowdowns on the printer, books likely will not actually ship out from them for a few weeks, but the orders are in! 
• The PDF of Boricubos: The Lost Isles for Pathfinder Second Edition is complete and clocks in at a whopping 202 pages! This PDF has been uploaded to Backerkit and you can download it there. We're also submitting the PDF for print processing, and we'll get the Pathfinder 2E orders for both books rolling as soon as it clears approvals.
• The Boricubos DnD 5E stretch goals and additional material is complete and has been sent over to layout, to get that book finalized and ready for you. PDFs should be ready to send out by the end of December and we'll be submitting the final files to our overseas printer. 
• Speaking of overseas printing, our Latin American Monsters (5E) book is already in process there too, so we'll be able to have all of the 5E books sent together. 
• Assembly of the Deluxe Hardcover Edition continues too, with the final material going to the layout person working on the combined version of both books, so the hardcover will be part of the same bulk print order as the two softcovers!
